English Channel Relay Swim
Four women. Four countries. One historic relay.

One hundred years after Gertrude Ederle became the first woman to swim the English Channel in 1926, our team of four women from four different countries came together to honor her incredible legacy. Her courage broke barriers and inspired generations of women to believe that no dream is too big.
This relay was about much more than crossing the Channel. It was a celebration of women, sport, friendship, determination, and the belief that together we can achieve extraordinary things. We wanted to show the world that when women support one another, anything is possible.
Our journey began in Dover at 1:44 p.m. and ended in Calais, France, at 1:28a.m. Every stroke carried a purpose beyond ourselves. Through this relay, we also wanted to promote swimming for children, raise awareness about water safety, and help more children learn to swim giving them a life-saving skill that can prevent drowning and open the door to confidence, opportunity, and a lifelong love of the water.
We are incredibly proud and grateful to have completed this challenge together. Here’s to honoring the past, inspiring the future, and continuing to prove that courage, teamwork, and purpose can change lives
